The little bundles of imagination…

‘Modern Ramayana’ is presented in a unique style by Anirudh Gudavally. She has woven the intrinsic detail of the abduction of Sita in her own words. This little writer is just nine years old and her story is already published. Just like her, there are kids who have penned down stories ranging from themes of mystery, adventure to Chota Bheem and Harry Potter. In total there are 45 short stories, written by kids between the age group of 6 to 14, and are published under the title ‘The Acron Book of Short Stories.’

This unique initiative was taken up by India’s largest International school, Oakridge. The book offered the children a great avenue to put their imagination to test and as well try their hand at writing. The book was released on Children’s Day, i.e. November 14. The day seemed to be apt to release the book and recognize the efforts of the children. It was a beautiful gift to the children by the children themselves.

The book was launched by C. Adilakshmi, the principal of Oakridge International School, Bachupally. The book has some amazingly titled stories like Gachibowli, Ticket 666, Rag Chords, Write or Die etc. The event was supported by the child authors of Bangalore, whose stories are part of this amazing publication. The book will be available for sale in major book points soon.
