ashritaAlliance Française in association with Hyderabad Western Music Foundation is organising an eight-week (8 Saturdays / Sundays)  voice/vocal – course for singers.
WESTERN CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY STYLE / POP
Learn how to approach vocal learning systematically, and how to move towards a healthy singing voice… Enjoy the practical training for warming up the voice…
Get familiar with the basic principles of vocal techniques like breathing, vocalizing and body posture…
Add new songs of different genres of music to your repertoire…
Opportunity will also be given to join a leading local vocal group.

Start for beginner-course: Saturday 14th September from 5.30 – 6.30 pm
and following 7 Saturdays (course for “everybody” who likes singing)
Start for advanced students: Sunday 15th September from  5.30 – 6.30 pm and following 7 Sundays (singers with experience in choirs, bands).
Course-fee : Rs. 1600, incl. material (HWMF-members 1300Rs.). Registration fee: Rs. 200
Resource person : Ashrita D’souza is a trained Western Classical Vocalist and Pianist. She completed her 8th Grade in Western Voice from Royal Schools of Music and is pursuing Diploma in voice from ABRSM. She was a Faculty for Western Voice at AR Rahman’s School in Chennai and has done a couple of concerts with AR Rahman and has experiences abroad. She has taught Music in Mumbai, Chennai and Sri Lanka.
