Elections are round the corner. There are many advertisements asking people to exercise their franchise. In this direction, Yi-CII driven initiative is organising a play titled Vote for India. “The purpose of this play is to spread awareness to vote,” says Jyoti Das, an organiser.
Speaking about the play, the organizer says the one-hour event involves two acts. “In the first act, the15-minute play titled “Kal Aaj Aur Kal”- where in we shall depict two scenarios where in people have not voted and the repercussions and second where they have voted,” says the organiser. In the second act, another 15-minute will be devoted to rhythmic recital titled “Election ka humse Connection” which is in form of poetry and it shall be presented as a conversation/dialogue amongst 10 people where topics such as corruption and the importance of election and how we can play our parts by voting have been dealt with, says the organiser.
